I got nothing today

It is raining up here. And cold. A perfect morning for some disappointment.

I really thought I had found us a good tractor. Good size, good model, good condition, good price, with a bucket loader. But with all those good things I should have realized it wouldn't last long. I was planning to go look at it this morning, and when I called to confirm the directions, he said someone showed up last night and bought it. I don't blame the seller -- he had only committed to show it to me. But now it is gone.

Oh well, back to the drawing board. It's not like that was the only tractor in northern New England for sale.

I just saw an ad on channel 3 for a big equipment auction happening on Sat., 4/26 in Swanton. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of place, but just looked in phone book, it's either Boucher Equipment, 868-4184 or Rene Fournier, 868-4050. Sorry, I didn't catch the name! Hope this helps you!!!

Can I be your date?

Sorry to hear about your loss.....

I'll tell you what you do have -- the New York Yankees on their way to a historical season!! They are off to their best start ever. Through Tuesday, the starting pitchers were 14 - 0, which is the greatest start for a rotation in Major League history! And they just beat Anaheim last night!

This is incredible!! Awesome!! They got guys from Japan, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, and who knows where else coming in there and kicking butt.

My advice is to buy a smaller tractor and invest in Direct TV or cable or whatever you need to start watching these guys.

Wow!!!!

I'm telling you, Pete, the answer is a team of draft horses!
No mechanical problems.
No high priced gasoline.
More manuverable.
More manure.
Better looking.
Friendlier.
More of a work out for the drover.
And you and the team would look great in the Guilford Fair!

I don't have much to add, but I did want to post something that didn't mention poop. Oops!
