Oh well
Those of you who know us well probably realize that the guy we were rooting for in yesterday's election conceded defeat today. Suffice it to say it is a subdued day around here. This is how I spent some time at lunch. But I think the flight urge will pass, as will the sting of defeat.

Don't go! We need you here!
Waverly and I put up our flag in front of our house this afternoon. I don't know, it seemed like the right thing to do, the kind of thing my Dad would do. Although I strongly disagree with the direction our country has chosen, I still believe in democracy and America. That's why we put it up.
