Sledding
This morning playing in the new snow. What a difference a week makes. Last Saturday, we were still in full-on Indian Summer. The jackets came off just after the picture below was snapped, and we were running around in our shirtsleeves and still hot!
Hi Maryellen,
Ever since you told me about the web site in August, I've been "lurking." I thoroughly enjoy it all!! I've also been printing out your monthly posts and sending them to Agnes and Kay in Montpelier;they are delighted. This month's posting will go in their Thanksgiving card. I'm also awaiting your happy news. Our son was a Thanksgiving baby--26 years ago! so I'll be glad to know who arrives in your family.

I just stumbled onto your web site this morning. Talk about postcards from home! I will bookmark this spot to keep track of "the neighbors" and doings in South Peacham.
Happy Holidays,
Frank Miller from Deep in the Heart of Texas!
Frank Miller!!
We're coming full circle. I remember you well from our childhood, although you may be unsure as to who I am. I'm Carolyn (Martin)Long's daughter and my grandmother (May Shaw Martin) grew up on the "Old Shaw Farm" next door to your family. The Agnes and Kay that I mentioned are also Shaws who grew up on that farm. I had a good visit with Jean and your mother when I was in Peacham last summer.
Stay well.
