Fun fun fun

Last weekend was THE Danville Fair. Wavy and I went Friday night. Then Wavy and Henry were in the kid's parade on Saturday morning. And then we all went back Saturday night, after I got back from market. Since Maryellen had the camera, the pictures are mostly of me and Wavy, but we all had fun.

Plus, fried dough . . . yum.

But when I asked the fried dough lady if her operation was certified organic, she seemed puzzled. I wonder why?

My God . . . that is good. Only 360 days until the next Danville Fair!

Un-related to fair stuff-
I, we, wanted to thank you all for all of these amazing vegetables. Today's basket with the beautiful eggplant, just what I was wanting! Feel so lucky to eat this food.

Elliot and I got in a rip-roaring fight about the sungolds, though. After eating 1 whole pint for lunch, nothing else, he wanted to dive into the second! I wouldn't let him, heck I wanted some, so he ran around the front yard crying, throwing himself into his tree swing, onto the ground, a really great tantrum. (Was really hard to stifle my laughter) I thought you all would appreciate the story, since you never see this side of him! He is addicted to your little nuggets of gold....
