I don't know what we would have done if Cornelia hadn't been able to stick around late into the fall this year. Thank you Cornelia! Lesson for next year -- make sure entire crew doesn't disappear on Labor Day.

Your comment about making sure the entire crew doesn't leave before Labor Day reminded me of growing up in Maryland, where many people took jobs in the resort town of Ocean City, Maryland. The business owners were freaking out when students left just before Labor Day to go back to college (or even high school), so they petitioned the state to make it that the school year didn't start until after the Labor Day weekend.

Just a silly observation. :)

didn't we get 26" of snow 1 year ago today? if not today, then the 28th! how different 12 months make.....

The weather folks are saying we should get a bunch of snow above 2000' Saturday night into Sunday. Maybe they will open the lifts at Jay Peak!
